Family Christmas Party

The Second Annual Overall Family Christmas Party was a success!
We had such a good time seeing all of our family (plus Emily who might as well be family) and getting to spend time with them. Thank you to each one of you who came over to eat, drink and socialize with us!
The menu for the night consisted of : the Club wraps (reappearance from last year), smoked sausage bundles with honey mustard, buffalo chicken bites, vegetable tray with ranch&jalapeno dip, bacon/cheese ball, dipped oreos, puppy chow, and homemade Hot Chocolate in the crock pot (recipe to come soon). The take-home bag contained a lump of coal (black colored rice krispy treats). The bacon/cheese ball was by far the most popular and was gone before some people even showed up! It has been requested I bring to Aunt Ellen's and Joy's for Christmas . :)

I feel like this year went a lot better than last year. My family knew his family better and the socializing was a lot smoother. We did miss a few people who weren't able to come, and hope they can make it next year:) When everyone we left we were sitting on the couch talking about how much fun we had and how much we love our family. (we didn't spend our time cleaning thanks to Mom and Dad).
I hope everyone gets time to spend with your family, just being together and enjoying it.It's my favorite thing about this time of year.
