4 months!

Ainsley is 4 whole months!!!
it's hard to believe something so tiny could change your world in such an amazing way. We can't even remember life without her sweet smile.
(warning- picture overload. she is too cute and i can't decide which pics I like best. and let's be honest, you would't be reading this post if you didnt want to see her adorable pics)
she babbled through the whole photo shoot and literally would not stop, so that's why her mouth is open in every pic:)
always chewing on fingers

happy 4 months with a slobberly lick
weight/height: she weight 14 lb 4 oz (67%) up 3.5 lbs from 2 months.
and is 25 3/4 in long!!!! (92%) up 3 whole inches from 2 months!  girl is LOOONNGG.
ofc: 41 1/2 (65%)

nicknames: bean, beanie, big girl, sweet pea

physical: her eyes are still a blueish/gray. the dr said because they are grayish and not 'baby blue' they will probably stay blue. her hair is lightening up a little and growing! she has a little mullet almost in the back that my friend erin wants to put a bow in and I won't let her. i found some hair falling out on her crib sheet and it made me so sad.
She is still drooling a lot. she is putting everything she can in her mouth.
She has such chubby thighs and I squeeze them all the time, i love them.

size: she is still wearing 0-3 months and some 3-6 months. still in size 1 diapers.

eating: she is such a finicky eater. some days she eats great, some days she doesnt want to eat at all. I have stopped stressing about it though and just let her eat what she wants. moving her back to 3 1/2 hours seems to help her eat better.
Her schedule now is: wake up at 745ish, eat at 8,1130,3,6/630, & 830. She usually takes 5oz but sometimes will take 4 and sometimes 6oz:)

sleeping: she goes to bed after her 830 bottle and sleeps until 745/8. We still swaddle her, turn on noise machine, and it is like a roofie. She transitioned to her crib right after she turned 3 months with no problem. We used a wedge under mattress for 5 nights and then took it out and she has done great.
*disclaimer- we realize this is not normal and are extremely lucky we have such a good sleeper. don't hate on this, be happy for us. it won't happen with baby #2! *
waking up
play: she still loves her playmat. she grips hard on her toys and pulls down on them :) She also loves sitting up in her bumbo. She has rolled from tummy to back once. I almost missed it!
She is such a chatter box. she makes noise NONSTOP. she loves 'talking'. She giggles and smiles all the time and it seriously melts your heart.
She got in the pool for the first time this past week and seemed to like it. We are determined to make her a water baby:)
She is really starting to develop a personality and it is so fun. She is becoming so aware of her surroundings.
* at 4 month check up she rolled from front to back on exam table like 'no big deal'. dr was very happy with her growth and head control*

I have gone back to work part time. It's hard to be away from her but also good to still keep that part of myself. I never thought I would be a mostly a stay at home mom, but this is what works best for our family and what I am loving right now. and I love it way more than I ever thought I would.
Philip has cut back a few shifts so he is getting to be home more, which makes Ainsley and I both so happy:)
