Ainsley's Birthday Party

In true "Amanda" fashion, Ainsley celebrated her birthday multiple times. We celebrated on her actual birthday (read here), she got to celebrate at school, and then she had her birthday party.

On Tuesday she got to bring in birthday treats along with snacks for the day. She wanted squeezies and then we made Rainbow Bars . They were delicious and the recipe made them not turn rock hard the next day.

For her party, she said she really wanted to have it at Gattitown. Philip was super excited about this :) she also said she wanted a "Tangled" theme. She was very specific she wanted not just Rapunzel but Flynn Rider and Maximus as well. I love that she knows what she wants (I think).

Saturday morning we met family and friends at Gattitown for some pizza, games, arcades and rides. Ainsley and Parker had such a good time and I think everyone else did too. She won a huge stuffed penguin, Parker won a ball so they were both happy.

We were/are overwhelmed with how much love was shown to our sweet girl. We are so thankful for each person that loves on her and makes her feel special, in so many ways. It takes a village and we love our village so much.
