Halloween

Halloween was dragged out this year in my opinion. I think doing the boo at the zoo so early in October did me in. Both kids had Halloween parties at school. We did two festivals. We made mummy hotdogs and monster cookies with the Stearley’s. Then we did trick or treating on actual Halloween (which was the most fun).

On Halloween we had our families plus some friends over for dinner before the kids donned their costumes and trekked around the neighborhood. Ainsley and Tate led the pack most of the way. Parker got a little spooked by a monster that shook the bushes and after that declared “don’t want to” and ride around in the wago eating candy.

Anna Jo and Joy stayed at the house passing out candy for us while the rest of paraded around with our squad:) the kids were fun to watch and it was perfect fall weather.

The Sunday night before we finally got to carve pumpkins. This was the first year since we got married we didn’t make our annual pumpkin family. But Ainsley wanted an Ariel pumpkin and Parker pointed to the face of the pumpkin he wanted.

Ainsley refused to touch the pumpkin guts so Parker followed suit. Philip scooped the pumpkins out and busted out his drill to carve them.

Halloween 2017 was a lot of fun!
