Christmas is in full effect in the overall house! The Saturday after thanksgiving we got to put up our tree(s) and inside decorations. And this past Saturday Philip and dad put up all the outside lights! If I am awake the Christmas tree is on:) and when Philip is working I may or may not leave the outside lights on all night long:)
The infamous Christmas box is now for Ainsley and this is the first year she's really gotten into it. Every morning she jumps up ready to put her piece on her nativity and then open her box from nanny and pop. This years theme seems to be a play doh theme. With fruit chews and smarties thrown in:) she has to follow the rule that breakfast comes first then she can have her candy. And she is very intrigued with box 9 because it sticks open slightly. Her curiousity got the best of her the other night and she opened it. She got a talking to about obeying mommy and having patience. And she had to put her toy back. She has been talking about day 9 every since haha:)
Tonight we went and met Santa. Ainsley actually told him what she wanted. And she has been very consistent for the past month about what she wants from Santa. "Pink balls and blue balls. And blue suckers and candy canes". I am in love with her innocent heart (and the cheapest Santa wishes she will ever have).
We are looking forward to this month and all the family time. We are excited for parkers first Christmas and to get to experience Christmas with the joy and wonder of a 2 year old:) we are really wanting Ainsley to understand Christmas means Jesus's birthday and how important that birthday was and is. Teaching her is a good refocus for me as well:)

You should tell her about the time Nanny and Aunt Ellen told each other everything they were getting for Christmas.
