Halloween 2015
Halloween looks a lot different now a days than it did 5 years ago. and i have to say trick or treating with ainsley is the most fun I have ever had on a halloween. She actually 'got it' this year and was (well, still is) so proud of all of her candy that she 'earned' herself. Philip sadly had to work but he got lots of pictures sent to him:)
Mom and Dad came over to help me with the kids so I could take them trick or treating around our neighborhood. I left a big bucket on candy on the front porch while we made our trek around the neighborhood. Brian and Lindsay came over to walk around with us. Ainsley loved ringing the door bell at the houses. After she received candy she would look at it so proudly in her bucket. When we got home, she immediately sat down and dumped her 'goodies' out and went through them all. She told nanny what her favorite was (a pink skeleton eraser randomly enough) and enjoyed counting her pieces.
She also very much enjoyed answering the door and handing out candy at her house. For days after she carries a bucket to the front door and says 'there are people at the door for candy mommy!' and we pretend to hand out candy.
First thing Sunday morning she came downstairs and wanted to see all of her 'goodies' again. I love the way her little mind works and how much fun that she had this year. Parker, aka Robin, was just along for the ride this year:)
Who needs to worry about losing baby weight when there is halloween candy in the house?!

Oh my gosh.....I feel the same way about the Halloween candy! I had my second child in August and it just seems harder this time around!
