Friday night we had dinner at a new steakhouse with the Birdwhistells. The food was so yummy and we loved catching up with them. You practically had to roll us outta there.
Sunday we went to gtown to play with Matt & family and then have a big Wilhoite Family Cookout with my famous hot dogs (courtesy of Daddy). It was really a perfect day and we all came home worn out and happy.
That following Tuesday Parker started preschool. He hasn't been very excited about it when we talk about school, insisting he "doesn't like gray". Once he got there, and saw he has lots of friends in his class, and his teachers are awesome, he decided he actually did like school and maybe even the color grey.
He also started soccer which might just be his sport. He is really enjoying it and loves that there isn't a lot of sitting or standing around.
After his first soccer game we ventured to the Orchard for the Apple Festival. The kids had a blast and we did too actually.
Ainsley has been really enjoying first grade and is continuing to amaze us with all she is learning, especially in Spanish. She is gaining confidence and growing up and its wonderful and sad all in one.
The heat has broken records this week, and we are looking forward to cooler temps and fall weather.
