Wrapping up 2018

People say the space between Christmas and New Years is the least favorite time of year, but that is definitely not the case for us.

Ainsley and Parker had their first real sleep over together. (They slept in the same bed in Michigan but never have at their own home). It took a few trips up the steps to tell them to stop talking but they finally went to sleep. And we couldn’t be upset that they wanted to talk late into the night. Ainsley woke up first and snuck out letting Parker sleep another hour. He was distraught sissy had already left the bed when he woke up.

14 of us Wilhoite girls piled in to the movie theater to see Mary Poppins returns. The girls had so much fun and ate way too much candy. Ainsley ate hers so fast her belly hurt and she declared she was never eating that much candy again (as she walked out eating a Twizzler) .

The boys got to play too, shooting guns on the farm. Parker really loved when Daddy shot the bad guys (targets).

We had MudBowl XXVI and it was chilly, but fun was had. No injuries and not too much complaining from the old men :)

We finished the evening going to a nice dinner and the kids spent the night with NannyPop. They did sherbet and sprite toasts just like we did with Grandma when she was alive.

And of course we’ve had lots of extra snuggles.

Excited for 2019 and seeing what the Lord will do in the next year!
