The rest of September

Philip pointed out I only had two posts in September and that is just unacceptable.so pretend like this is dated a few weeks ago.

Parker started his second year of preschool and I think he enjoys being the big man in class. His teachers are so sweet and Parker seems to really love them.
Please note he wants to be the Green Lantern when he grows up.

His first day was made special by the awesome people at Crossroads.
He also moved from his toddler bed to a big boy bed, complete with super hero bedding!
I have been able to go eat lunch with Ainsley twice now. She loves pointing out her new friends and teachers to me, and of course getting to sit at the special table. Philip and Nanny have also been able to have lunch with her which made her so happy.
Philip and I volunteered at Jesus Prom again this year. I love serving with him. It’s one of my favorite things to do.
Uncle Steve and Aunt Teri volunteered by watching our kids :) probably more exhausting than being on the medical team.
We have been enjoying the sunshine and summer weather while we can. Ainsley wants to come from school and go straight to her swing.
I took her to a special girls orange leaf day on a day i drove to pick her up from school.
Skyline finally opened in Lexington and we have been more times than we should admit. Parker is a huge fan.
I joined the PTA at Liberty and got to help pass out shirts for Spirit Day!
We had a girls day to Mad Potter where i got to paint a ceramic Christmas tree like my grandma used to have. An early Christmas gift from mom was taking us there. Ainsley was supposed to paint an ornament but wanted to paint a princess instead.
We made chocolate dipped apples from a recipe book Ainsley checked out of the library.
And we have spent time playing with friends.
And just playing in general.
This is Ainsley taking “selfies” with a plastic phone.
so this was September !always a busy and fun filled month !
