Wedding Time!

We had a very busy but fun &love filled weekend at our house :)
Tuesday was Ainsley Fall Party at school and she got to wear her Halloween costume:)
Thursday morning Ainsley had a field trip to Evan's Orchard. Philip was off so him and Parker hung out and Ainsley and I enjoyed some girl time. She had a blast and loved being there with some of her new friends.
Most of the family was in by Thursday night, so Joy had everyone over for dinner. Philip and Parker went while Ainsley and I went to soccer. more girl time! Ainsley scored a goal, was so happy, and wanted to go to Wendy's to celebrate:) Ainsley and I had a lot of fun together and I enjoyed some time with just her. And Parker loved all the attention he got from him Michigan family without big sissy in the way.
Friday morning we went to Joys for brunch so I could finally see everyone and the kids could play. We spent the morning there eating and talking, and then came home for naps and to get ready for rehearsal. While Philip and Ainsley practiced for the big day, Ted, Danielle and Taylor came over and hung out with Parker. Becca, Marty and their kids came over too and enjoyed a night at the Overall Arcade:) Dinner was at Crank and Book ice cream and was so good !
last time Uncle Ted visited Ainsley was scared to be in the same room with him. this time, we couldn't pry her arms from around his neck
Saturday was the BIG DAY! Uncle Bri spent the night with us so he got the joy of spending the morning of his wedding with two kids in his face at 7 am:) Philip made us all omelets and then him and Brian were off to a speciality barber shop with the other groomsmen. Philip got a haircut and steam shave and said he was in heaven! Then the wedding party went to take pictures and I brought Ainsley over to meet up with them after a short nap.
I couldn't actually watch Ainsley coming down the aisle but apparently she did really good, and even dropped flowers:) she circled around to me in the second pew and started not-so-quietly asking me for Nanny (who was in the back with Pop and Parker). After she started getting louder asking for Nanny I jerked her out of the pew and took her back to Nanny where she apparently sat quiet as a mouse. Then after the ceremony was over she ran down the aisle screaming "It's coronation day!" :) I got ZERO pics so if anyone has any please share!
The reception was so fun. Mom and Dad were such a big help with our crazy kids, and even journeyed into the photo booth with them:) Ainsley ran like a mad woman and then finally sat down and told Mom "Im ready to go home" lol. She didn't even get to hear Daddy's awesome best man speech! Philip and I stayed until the end, dancing and laughing with his family. Then we sent Brian and Lindsay off with sparklers. Our hearts were full seeing how happy they were and it brought back so many memories of our own wedding.

We came home happy but with blisters on our feet:)

Sunday we hosted brunch at our house and had over 20 twenty people over for delicious food Mom and Auntie Jo made for everyone. Which was so nice and so appreciated. Again, I got no pics. I really failed at capturing things this weekend. But I did steal some pics from family :)

glued to Uncle Ted
Sunday afternoon, we ALL NAPPED. like, every family member not driving back to MI. Then we met up with the remaining family for dinner and said our *tearful* goodbyes to everyone.
We had such a good time visiting with everyone. We really miss the family that lives in Michigan (and California!) and were so glad to have time to soak them up this weekend. We loved spending time with Lindsay's family and getting to know them better.  We are so happy for Brian and Lindsay and loved being a part of their special day.

I am dying about her yelling 'coronation day!' - she cracks me up!
