Holiday World

Last weekend we took a long awaited trip with my family to Holiday World!
None of us had ever been before, and it did not disappoint. We got one cabin and mom and dad brought their RV. It was so nice to have both. We also rented a golf cart which was one of the funnest parts!
Daddy got up and made us all breakfast in the mornings.
There was a shuttle at our campground that took us to Holiday World.
Ainsley rode her first big girl roller coaster. Her, Philip and Pop waited 1:45 minutes and she rode it like a champ! We watched them go by and then down the hill and my stomach was queasy for her! Super proud of her.

Parker wasn't tall enough to ride all of the rides he wanted to, but he did get to ride the scrambler and the puppy roller coaster, and almost all of the water slides.
Funnel cakes, of course.

There were activities at the campground in the evenings and we participated for the ceramics painting.

The girls got creative and made "pot pies" at the cabin.
Nanny brought a craft bin and the kids loved making crafts at night time.

We had such a good time and can't wait to go back. Thanks Nanny and Pop for such a great trip. Just what we needed before school starts up!

Jax

Jackson Overall
May 2010 - July 16 202

It has taken me a bit to write this post, but I wanted to write it and have it in my memories.
Jackson has gone to doggy heaven and we are all missing a little part of our family.
He was the sweetest dog and was honestly never mean to anyone.
He loved the snow, Pop's 4 wheeler, running on the farm, going on walks, his wubby and Ainsley & Parker.
I gave Philip the collar for Jax on our honeymoon, as his birthday present. Mom, Aunt Ellen and I drove to pick him up and bring him home. He was our first baby and lived with us in our first home on Golden Oak. He was there when we brought both kids home from the hospital, sniffing them and protecting them. He moved with us to our now home and spent his last days playing with Maxwell.
We could not have asked for a better dog.
The kids said they will see Jax again in heaven, and I like to think we will.
