We had such a fun filled 4th! The kids and i woke up and headed to Georgetown while Philip slept after working a night shift. He came home with red, white and blue sprinkled doughnuts first though:)
We hung out there all day playing in Uncle Bubby and Aunt Rachel’s pool, playing at nanny pops, riding the 4 wheel and grilling out. Philip met us there after he got up, armed with fireworks.
After dark we went to Auntie Jos to set off fireworks that Matt and Philip had gotten. First sparkler in and Parker grabs the end of it and burns his hand. Thank goodness for aloe plants! The fireworks were quite the show! The kids (and adults) loved it!
Each kid got to hold a Roman candle and let them shoot from the tube. They loved the colored smoke bombs and i loved my favorite black snakes. We stayed up way past their bedtimes and it was so worth it:)
